This image shows a view of the model from above. The 3 slot windows in the roof can be clearly seen. The central window lit the pitch and entrance area and the side windows lit the raked seating, access corridors, offices and climbing wall. The aim was to utilise natural light as much as possible to reduce energy consumption. These roof windows could be screened dynamically based on Lux levels by the BMS system.
